This book is a result of a lifetime of service and study by the author, who, during his tenure as Chief Engineer with Pakistan International Airline, was inspired by his interactions with people around the world. Witnessing a widespread spiritual vacuum in the West, and a general lack of understanding about the Quran, he decided to create a comprehensive index of Quranic subjects. This guide serves to simplify the understanding of the Quran, illuminating its teachings on a multitude of subjects.
The author's meticulous approach brings clarity to complex subjects, from the gradual prohibition of intoxicants to the structure of the five daily prayers. He undertook the challenging task of providing brief descriptions of Quranic verses, drawing from various Tafasir for assistance. Explanatory notes are included where subjects were unclear, ensuring the index's meaningful value.
Special attention has been given to the verses where Quran touches upon scientific subjects. This is one area where very little is found in the renowned Tafasir of old, while it is the most burning subject of our times. The author's hope is that this compilation will be a valuable resource for those wishing to undertake research on any of the subjects covered in the Quran.
