The story of Descendants revolves around a group of childhood friends. Eddie is experiencing strange dreams that are more like nightmares about the war in Southeast Asia where he lived as a refugee. However, it is unclear whether these dreams are imaginary or memories coming back to haunt him. When the fighting erupts between Eddie and Simon, alliances are form and Eddie with the help of his roommate, Jason escape back to Cambodia in order to avoid capture by the FBI for a murder. The clock is ticking and soon Eddie realizes that he has to accept his past in order to defeat Simon and avenge the death of those he loved. However, will he be ready to face off with his old friend who he respected as a brother? Love, betrayal, death and a reawakening of one's true self occur over the course of this dark story with familiar and foreign landscapes, an adventure about survival.
