In February 2017, thirteen-year-old Abby Williams and fourteen-year-old Libby German were found murdered near the Monon High Bridge Trail in Delphi, Indiana, one day after they were reported missing. A photograph and audio recording captured on Libby German's phone became the central evidence in an investigation that remained open for five and a half years. In October 2022, Richard Allen, a Delphi resident, was arrested and charged with both murders. The legal proceedings that followed included extensive pre-trial motions, a change of venue, and contested evidence rulings before the case reached trial.

In October 2024, a jury convicted Allen on two counts of murder. He was sentenced to two consecutive terms of sixty-five years.

The Delphi Investigation documents the case from the initial discovery through the multi-agency investigation, the public release of suspect images and audio recordings, the arrest, and the completed trial proceedings.
