Through this work, Kevin Thompson details his walk of faith struggling with these questions. For over 10 years he and his wife struggled against infertility, each other, and God--ultimately leading Kevin to a crucible of choice during his dark night of the soul. Would he walk away from life? From God?
Beyond providing honest reflections of the heartache of a childless man, this work also details the struggle to come to grips with a God who allows suffering--even unanswered prayers for what may be considered good dreams. A thoughtful and biblically based process is provided addressing a resolution of God's character in the face of pain.
