In the days of the wild west, a gunslinger named Deadeye Jack is asked to guide a Dutch archaeologist into the wilds of Canada, looking for what appears to have been a missing Viking expedition, long before Colombus ever set sail. Jack, having been wandering the west more than anything else, bothered by memories of the war, never having found his place after it, accepts the job. He heads out with the prim and proper Dutchman, who is completely out of place in the wild. When something happens, The Dutchman can go no further, but Jack's curiosity is piqued. He decides to go on, when what he encounters is something that he could never have thought of even being possible.

Strange encounters, impossible scenarios, and even a native girl that seems different than the rest of her tribe. Many situations that can no longer be ascribed to coincidence, happen to the gunslinger who is becoming an explorer.

Having gone through things that he could never explain, Jack finds himself in a position to have to choose. He can reap the rewards of his exploits, or, he can embrace the explorer within.

Deadeye Jack is based on true historical situations that never found a true answer. Using known facts, the rest of the story is filled in, to possibly explain what might have really happened out there.
