At 8:03 Monday morning, Ben Foster arrives at work carrying a coffee and wondering why the parking lot is empty.

If you don't love working here, perhaps you should consider leaving.
So they did.
All 311 of them.
Everyone except Ben.
He didn't read the email.
Unfortunately, Monday is also the most important day in the company's history.
Their biggest client is arriving at noon to sign a deal that could keep the business alive.
The CEO is unreachable.
The building is empty.
The phones won't stop ringing.
And Ben-Assistant Inventory Coordinator, Level Two-is apparently the highest-ranking employee still employed.
He has four hours.
What follows is a spectacularly bad attempt to operate an entire corporation with one employee, a malfunctioning printer, an intern who technically resigned but forgot her laptop, a former IT manager willing to help for pizza, several furious customers, an executive nobody realized still worked there, and a rapidly growing group of ex-employees who have discovered that watching the company collapse from the café across the street is considerably more entertaining than going home.
Every time Ben fixes one problem, he creates three more.
Every time the deal appears saved, someone discovers another disaster.
And by lunchtime, keeping the company alive may no longer be the strangest thing on Ben's schedule.
