I've been reading Dan Provost for a long time. And every time I pick up one of his latest I'm reminded of the guy behind the keys, beneath the pen, the struggles and successes of what it means to be good at this life. What it means to be a good writer. I see it all the time; I am sure that you do too, people who stop and seek shelter from the storm because they cannot see what dangerous situation may lie in waiting.
