I am not what I have been. In 2004 I fell. My body catapulted down and down the huge staircase of my home...Because my brain was sick, I had to learn to choose peace or chaos, truth or lies, ease or agitation. I exercised with great muscle that I would be well, that God had my back and my good in mind (God's mind not mine). Found not lost. As I take a breath I breathe air that has woven through the world, grasslands and livestock, caverns and treetops, rocks and ocean waves. To smile is to be smiled at...alive, a life force, a life form; an intake, an exhale, a vibration that turns on, then off, then on. 010101...a core text, God's breath, the word. God began pouring poetry percussively through me...I as fountain. I as river I as mountain... - excerpt from Preface
