Webster's dictionary defines Consecration as, a promise to give one's time and attention to something.
Consecration is the separation of oneself from things that are unclean (sin).
When we continue to have unclean things in our lives, it creates a block between our relationship with a perfect God.
When we open our hearts to Him daily, we become more holy. Dedicating ourselves to this sacred lifestyle brings us closer to the Lord.
When you start to consecrate consistently, it will bring you much closer to God. As you draw closer to God, your heart will become pure. To get the most out of this, you must sacrifice some of your time. But in the end, you will be blessed. This will prosper your soul and restore your health.
Consecration will teach you how to specifically pray for yourself. If God has given us authority to lay hands on people, cast out sickness and disease; surely, He wants us to be healthy as well. Therefore, we need to lay hands on ourselves to receive physical, emotional, and mental healing. As we empty ourselves to the Lord, He will give us daily benefits. This means Jesus will carry all our burdens.
However, none of this can be done unless we are led by the Holy Spirit. We need the power of the Holy Spirit to help us, and God's love to make us whole.
