56. They and their wives, in pleasant shade, on thrones reclining. 57. Theirs is the fruit (of their good deeds) and theirs (all) that they ask -
58. The Word from a Merciful Lord (for them) is: Peace! 33:40. Muhammad is not the father of any man among you, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets. And Allah is ever Aware of all things. 33:56. Lo! Allah and His angels shower blessings on the Prophet. O ye who believe! You should also send blessing on him and salute him with a worthy salutation. 'ALLAAHUMMA SALLI 'ALAA MUHAMMADINW WA 'ALAA 'AALI MUHAMMADIN KAMAA SALLAYTA 'ALAA 'IBRAAHIMA WA 'ALAA 'AALI 'IBRAAHIMA 'INNAKA HAMIIDUM- MAJIID. 'ALLAAHUMMA BAARIK 'ALAA MUHAMMADINW WA 'ALAA 'AALI MUHAMMADIN KAMAA BAARAKTA 'ALAA 'IBRAAHIMA WA 'ALAA 'AALI 'IBRAAHIMA 'INNAKA HAMIIDUM- MAJIID. (O Allaah, let Your Blessings come upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you have blessed Ibrahim and his family. Truly, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. O Allaah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you have blessed Ibrahim and his family. Truly, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious.) The famous companion of the Prophet (SallAllaahu alaihi wasallam), Ka'ab bin Ujrah (Radi Allaahu anhu), narrates that once it was inquired from Sayyiduna RasoolUllaah (SallAllaahu alaihi wasallam) as to how blessings should be sent to him. The Prophet (SallAllaahu alaihi wasallam) replied that the blessings be said in the manner (it has been mentioned) above, that is, Durood-e-Ibrahimi.
