Davey Holbrook's extraordinary collage notebook is a testament to her creativity and resourcefulness. Over the course of three years, she meticulously collected and recycled photos from magazines at her local recycling center, giving new life to discarded materials. The result is a captivating book filled with a diverse range of collages that blend humor, sensitivity, and explicit imagery.
Originally, this remarkable project was never intended for public consumption. It was a personal endeavor, a creative outlet for Davey's thoughts and emotions. However, as she reflects upon her work, she has grown excited about the idea of sharing it with the world.
Through her art, she invites readers to view the world with a new perspective, acknowledging the beauty found in unexpected places. This collage notebook is a testament to Davey's artistic vision, and it promises to leave a lasting impression on those who engage with its pages.
