Circles
Not part of the grief series proper - a companion volume built entirely around a different kind of stuck: the loops we keep walking whether we mean to or not.
A river tries to outrun its own source and finds out nothing really leaves the water it came from. Bridges keep burning behind someone who swears they never meant to light the match. The same left turn gets taken again and again, until the person taking it stops trusting whether again even means anything anymore. And then - without warning, without explanation - a hand shows up in the middle of a road that's been walked a hundred times before, and somehow makes it feel new.
This is what it looks like when the pattern doesn't break, but the person walking it finally isn't walking it alone.
