This book is written for pastors, leaders, and believers who recognize that something must change-but are asking the practical question: How? For generations, churches have faithfully preached the Gospel, held services, and cared for their communities. Yet despite sincere effort, many believers remain spiritually immature, unequipped for ministry, and unable to fulfill the purpose God intended for His Church. In Church Must Change 2: How to Change, Rev. Dr. Mark Swiger moves beyond identifying the problem and presents a practical biblical pathway forward. Drawing from more than fifty years of ministry experience and rooted firmly in the Scriptures, Dr. Swiger examines why traditional church structures often hinder true discipleship and offers a fresh vision for restoring the New Testament pattern. He explores the role of the five-fold ministry, the necessity of personal discipleship, the importance of identifying individual spiritual needs, and the challenge of transitioning from centuries of tradition to a model designed to produce mature followers of Christ. This is not a call to criticize the Church.

He has served as a pastor in four churches in the United States and is the founder of Mark Swiger Ministries, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation. He has preached to millions face to face on five continents, hosted the television program Healing for You Today and is the author of several books. He currently lives in the state of Tennessee with his wife Paulette. They are the parents of three grown children and several grandchildren. Both Mark & Dr. Paulette (Who leads the ministry called Hope for Healing) are ordained ministers with the Assemblies of God serving in the Tennessee District.
