Pulled from the deepest reaches of the fires of a highland hell, Chico Hermano and Lyrics for Poetic Mutts is the first collection of poetry from underground author Billy Townes. Collected from nascent scraps of poetry notebooks and early writings, Chico Hermano displays the surreal and experimantal style that has endeared the author to the underground scene. Limitlessly interpretable and endlessly enjoyable, this collection brings together the unmistakable surrealistic style of the author's early poetic experiments, along with a selection of his later quasi-lyrical poems (Lyrics For Poetic Mutts). With his signature use of disconnected language, Townes sends you to distant planes of temporal existence where up is down, right is more than often supplemental, and the Berlin Wall still surrounds the existential cosmos of the inner mind.
