Sometimes the most wonderful dreams are the ones no one has ever dreamed before.
On a quiet farm high in the mountains, a little cat named Chaz has a big dream: to carve the most beautiful furniture the world has ever seen. But there's just one problem-cats don't carve!
Armed with the wise words of his teacher, the encouragement of his friends, and the power of the 3 Ps-Practice, Persistence, and Positivity-Chaz sets out to prove that even the most impossible dreams can come true.
Chaz the Carving Cat is a heartwarming, beautifully illustrated children's book about:
- Believing in yourself and chasing big dreams
- Perseverance when facing challenges
- Learning that mistakes are part of the journey
- The power of positive thinking
Perfect Gift for Kids:
This uplifting story is ideal for children ages 4-8, parents, grandparents, and educators looking for books that inspire confidence, creativity, and resilience in young readers. It's a wonderful addition to any home, classroom, or library.
The Story Behind Chaz
Written by Lona Whitney and Luca Schläpfer, a young couple from Switzerland, Chaz the Carving Cat began as a heartfelt Christmas gift for the children in their family. The characters are inspired by real-life adventures and meaningful lessons:
- Flöckli, Chaz's playful goat friend, was inspired by a hike in the Swiss mountains.
- Mrs. Shepherd, wise and kind, reflects Lona's beloved high school teacher, whose mantra-Whether you think you can, or you think you can't, you're right (Henry Ford)-helped Lona achieve her impossible dreams.
Why Parents and Educators Will Love This Book:
- Teaches Growth Mindset: A powerful message about perseverance, positivity, and learning from failure.
- Encourages Creativity: Shows children the importance of dreaming big and trying new things.
- Beautiful Illustrations: Vibrant artwork that brings Chaz and his world to life.
- Perfect for Storytime: Inspires meaningful conversations about resilience, hard work, and self-belief.
Give the Gift of Inspiration!
Whether you're shopping for a birthday, holiday, or classroom read-aloud, Chaz the Carving Cat is a timeless tale that will inspire little dreamers to believe that anything is possible-one small step at a time.
May Chaz spark big dreams in little hearts.
