From the ancient Greek prefix cata-, meaning a downward movement, an immersion, a crossing into depth; and from poex, a poetry of the unknown, of the variable X, of the point yet unexplored.
A collection of contemporary poems that descends beneath the surface of things and sensations, where matter, body, memory and technology meet within a language in transformation.
The sandpaper wind blows unseen, yet it is perceived. It abrades, consumes, wounds. But from the worn surface itself, new forms emerge.
Fragments, symbols, neologisms, proportions and geometries build a poetic territory suspended between organism and machine, between identity and dissolution.
A journey without ascent, into the unknown.
