of how we Americans make fishy glory.
Spend a day with Carl the Channel Catfish as he gives us a rhyming tour about his daily life on a fish farm in South Georgia, which he calls home. This educational fish farming book contains real-life environmental photos as well as illustrations of Carl, our narrator.

- How are fish farmed? Carl takes us through the channel catfish life cycle and introduces aquaculture related career options.
- What is used to farm fish? Carl shows us some equipment that's used on his farm, such as a tractor, seine net, basket, etc.
- Do we have aquaculture in America? Yes we do and this book even contains biographies in the Aquaculture Highlights section from real American figures in today's aquaculture.

Created by the fish farmer's adult daughter, kids will get up close and personal with the daily life of what it's like to work in aquaculture through the pictures of Edge's Aquatics Farm in Soperton, GA. The beautifully illustrated cartoons were brought to life by the author to make the live photos more interesting and enticing. There's so much to learn in this book!
