What if your first week of summer camp . . .wasn't your first week of summer camp? Abby Riley has ZERO nervous jitters about heading off to summer camp by herself for the first time. In fact, this is the summer Abby has been waiting for her entire life: the summer she finally gets to be a real camper instead of just a guest tagging along with the camp dean (who's also her dad). She'll get to share secrets with new friends in her cabin late at night, check out the campers-only activities she's heard so much about, and even get to take part in the campers-versus-counselors water balloon fight for the first time! But when Abby gets to camp, she discovers that life as a real camper is NOTHING like hanging out at camp as a dean's kid. Camp is suddenly full of rules, rules, and more rules! It's not nearly as fun as she thought it would be.For the first time in her life, Abby wants to pack her suitcase and go home . . . but can she abandon all the campers who don't even know what a failure the week is? Or can this camp expert find a way to fix camp? Welcome to summer camp: best friends, bunk beds, campfires, s'mores, swimming, canoeing, cabin life, awesome counselors, gimp bracelets, silly skits, and more! Join Abby and her friends as she goes from a nine-year-old first-time camper to a high school graduate and camp counselor herself. Set in Michigan's Upper Peninsula with a cast of charming Yooper characters. Abby's Camp Days series is perfect for kids and teens as well as anybody wanting to relive their days at camp.
