Sometimes love means sticking around, even when everything goes horribly wrong. Jay Taylor never expected to move to Louisiana and work for the FBI. Accounting, numbers and hard facts make sense, but people rarely do, and South Louisiana is not a place for number and facts. He never expected to meet the man of his dreams in a bar on the edge of a murky swamp. Jay also wasn't expecting him to be a widower with a daughter. Brett Dupuis is just trying to keep his life together. He's working two jobs to take care of his daughter, and battling his daughter's biological mother for custody. When Jay asks him for his number, Brett declines as politely as he can to avoid adding even more havoc to his life. Then they accidentally run into each other a few weeks later. Brett then realizes that there is more to Jay than just a charming smile and a nice butt. Can Jay balance both a career and relationship with Brett? Will Brett overcome the obstacles he's facing and give Jay a chance? Or are life's challenges just too much for both of them? Please Note: This book contains adult language & steamy adult activities, it is intended for 18+ Adults Only. Novel, approx. 30,000 words in length. HEA (happy ever after ending). Does not end with a cliffhanger. Themes include: Multicultural/Interracial, Single Parent, Adopted Child, Kidnapping
