Cursus Philosophicus Monasterii S. Galli: Logica Major, Volume 1, by Celestino Sfondrati, presents a comprehensive course in logic rooted in the philosophical tradition of the Monastery of Saint Gall. This volume, the first in the series, delves into the major aspects of logic, offering readers a thorough exploration of its principles and applications.
Sfondrati's work is an invaluable resource for those studying the history of philosophy, particularly Scholasticism, and its intersection with Catholic thought. The book provides insights into the intellectual environment of monastic life and the development of philosophical ideas within that context. This edition makes Sfondrati's important work accessible to a new generation of scholars and students interested in the history of logic and philosophy.
