When Eddie Smith checked in to the unassuming bed-and-breakfast at the old Welsh castle Halogsbryd, he expected to stay for three nights. Just a short trip to enjoy some history, try some local food, and maybe connect with his family's past. Unfortunately for Eddie, the cursed house of Halogsbryd had other plans. Now bound by the ancient curse, Eddie finds he can never leave the castle and he must be inside its walls every night at midnight. Matters are complicated when he falls for Branwen, the enchanting young woman at the coffee shop. Does Eddie risk dragging her into his predicament? Can he find a way to defeat the curse? Or will Eddie spend the rest of his life trapped beneath the shadow of Halogsbryd?

This contemporary gothic horror sets the unholy spirits of old Wales against the backdrop of the tragic romance between the young American and the woman of his dreams. As fate would have it, though, Eddie found the woman of his dreams in the middle of his greatest nightmare.

This printed edition also features the first chapter of a new novel, Snowbird, which will be released in Fall 2025.
