Joe and Ben are long time friends who decide to go on a trip to Eastern Europe. Ben is knowledgeable about the area and is an accomplished photographer while Joe has a terminal illness that he has not told anyone about. They arrive in Europe and check out the sights before Joe meets the kind of girl he can't meet back home in a local pub. She takes him home presumably for sex....with a suspicious Ben warning Joe to not go with her...His warnings go unheeded and his paranoia is realized the next day as Joe does not return back to their hostel at their agreed upon time. Ben returns to where he last saw Joe only to find him in a back alley, bleeding and near death. The terminally ill Joe refuses the hospital but recuperates miraculously once back in their hostel..and when the full moon hits he becomes an out of control werewolf. Will Joe embrace his new supernatural powers which leaves him no longer terminally ill? Or will Ben prevent him from roaming the world and killing others during the full moon cycle?
