About The AuthorD. J. Irvine is an author and illustrator with four anthologies of poetry to date. He started writing poetry, wisdom and metaphysical philosophy at the age of twenty-one. David can't explain why poetry and wisdom fall from his mind but is aware that we can connect to an energy system that entwines our state of consciousness. Cured is David's latest anthology and continues with the journey through life, restoring balance to reality. As a self-taught creative writer, David's poems will fill your mind with vivid imagery, pull on your emotions and give you a sense of significance for the odyssey ahead. Reviews
David Irvine is like Wordsworth, Aristotle and Einstein all rolled into one! Lovely stuff! I finished the book with a smile, loved it. Will follow this author and keep a lookout for more books. Upon reading D. J. Irvines poems, my husband was thrilled and touched as segments brought back some happy life-changing memories. Beautiful poems and writing, written in so many different styles. Wonderfully written, bursting with emotive language and imagery. D. J. Irvine is the Keats of our time.
Beautiful poetry! I've read this book three times now, and I've managed to find something new and inspiring with each read. Interesting insight into Davids mind, esoteric thought and philosophical views. Easy to read and understand but suspect there are hidden meanings in a few of the writings. I found the book very interesting and inspiring. It took me on a journey through the author's mind by way of beautifully written poetry. I especially liked the words of wisdom, some of which I will use for my own self-guidance. The writer truly captures the moments with his perfect words, some serious thought-provoking poetry that feeds the imagination. Looking forward to future publications. From The Back Cover
Cured - is separated into three categories: life, journeys, and restore. Each section offers poetry as a form of healing whispers that provokes any reader into a sense of tranquillity.
Life - is relative to all the conditions society has to offer.
Journeys - will take you away to the highest moist clouds and lowest valleys of unthinkable depths.
Restore - wants to heal your mind with words of philosophy and realism while facing the architecture of modern growth.
