This is the biogrphy of Aslam Akram who spent time in a reform school as a result of shooting a teacher at his school who insulted Mohammed. Aslam was acting at the instigation of an imam at his mosque. Aslam is converted to Christianity through the ministry of a teacher at his former school and her husband. On his release from the reform school, Aslam's friends and their families also convert to Christianity. Aslam goes on to study and become a doctor. He marries Malaika, a Christian of Pakistani origin and fellow doctor. The imam who persuaded Aslam to shoot a teacher at his school attempts to murder Akram on being released himself from Parkhurst Prison and immediately flees to Pakistan. Aslam and Malaika go to Faisalabad in Pakistan where Malaika's uncle and aunt have suffered as a result of anti-Christian riots. Aslam and Malaika work, both in restoring Chritian homes and churches and as volunteers in the local hospital. Unbeknown to Aslam, the Imam who attempted to murder him is also in Faisalabad an makes another attempt to murder Aslam but he and his associate are arrested before they can actually commit the murder. Aslam and Malaikareturn to the UK when the situation in Faisalabad has become restored to normal and the rehabilitation of Christian homes and churches is well on the way to completion.
