This paper examines the social construction of victims and perpetrators in the context of child trafficking. In addition to a terminological analysis, the research focuses on outlining the complex victim-perpetrator phenomena and their relationship dynamics. A literature analysis was used to determine the extent to which the contradictory role models of those potentially affected are shaped. In addition, the findings from the official data material on the one hand and the expert interviews on the other serve as a basis for creating a framework for reflection on social work practices in dealing with victims of child trafficking.
