In the enchanting tale of The Crafty Fox, readers are taken on a whimsical journey through the political landscape of the animal kingdom. The story begins when the cunning fox is invited by his friend, the mighty lion, to meet the mysterious spirit in black, who promises power and influence. Upon returning from their fateful encounter at the riverside, the fox establishes the Fox Party of Nigeria, while the lion forms the Lion Party of Nigeria, igniting a fierce rivalry between the two former friends.
As the narrative unfolds, the tension rises in the first parliamentary election, where the lion initially claims victory and forms the government. However, the plot thickens in the subsequent election, where the fox's party secures more seats but faces the lion's refusal to concede. The intervention of the governor general introduces a twist, as Mr. Rat, the clever deputy of Mr. Fox, is called upon to form a government, setting the stage for an exhilarating political showdown.
