The Court Sermon: 1674 is a religious text written by Gilbert Burnet, an English bishop and historian who lived during the 17th century. The book is a transcript of a sermon that Burnet delivered at the court of King Charles II in 1674. In the sermon, Burnet discusses the importance of living a virtuous life and following the teachings of Christianity. He also addresses the role of the monarchy in promoting morality and justice, and the need for rulers to lead by example. The Court Sermon: 1674 provides insight into the religious and political climate of England during the Restoration period, and is considered an important work of religious literature from this time. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
