The Christian World has never been truthfully taught that the gods of the Ancient Masters were but symbols of Nature and of Cosmic agencies, powers and processes. The symbols were employed to mislead the profane and to make more effective and comprehensive the instruction of the elect concerning the mysteries of Life and Cosmic Spirit. The scientific religion of the Masters (1) taught that the human body is the Temple in which the Cosmic Spirit dwells on the earth place, and instructed man how to care for his body while it was animated by the Holy Spirit, and also (2) revealed the mystery of the Future Life when the body ceases its function and dissolves into dust.
