Copia Recessus Monachiensis Concordatorum Cum Ordinariis Bavariae Anno 1583 Celebrati presents a historical record concerning concordats established with the ordinaries of Bavaria in 1583. This volume includes a translation alongside the original text and focuses particularly on the ninth title, addressing matters related to the souls of the departed (Von Den Seelgeraiten).
This document provides insight into the religious and legal agreements of the period, offering valuable information for researchers interested in the history of canon law, Bavarian history, and the relationships between religious orders and secular authorities in the late 16th century. The inclusion of both the original text and its translation makes it accessible to a broader audience of scholars. The book sheds light on the intersection of religious practice, legal frameworks, and regional governance during a pivotal era in European history.
