Politics is integral to Islam, historically chronicled in Islamic literature. It encompasses the management of national affairs, where both state and nation play critical roles. This study emphasizes contemporary Islamic political thought, inspired by the intersection of Islamic movements with secular ideologies such as nationalism and socialism, particularly following the 1967 defeat of nationalist efforts.
