Constitutiones Urbanae Fratrum Ordinis Minorum S. P. Francisci Conventualium is a historical legal document outlining the urban constitutions of the Friars Minor of the Order of Saint Francis Conventual, sanctioned by Reverend Father Master Vincentius De Comitibus of Bergamo. This text provides invaluable insight into the governance and regulations of the Franciscan order, enriched by recently issued decrees and a comprehensive index of subjects.
A vital resource for scholars of religious history, canon law, and the Franciscan order, this work showcases the intricate framework that guided the daily lives and spiritual practices of the friars. Its enduring significance lies in its detailed exposition of the constitutional principles that shaped the Franciscan community and its broader impact on European religious life.
