Considering Christmas is a collection of Christmas poems, paired with full-color photography that looks at the nativity story through the eyes of everyone who was there.
What was it like for Joseph, learning his betrothed carried a child not his own, and choosing faith over fear? What did the angels see, watching creation unfold long before Bethlehem? What moved the wise men to travel so far, and the shepherds to run and tell everyone they met?

Considering Christmas is a 228-page, photo-illustrated collection of poems that pause on these questions, one perspective, one moment, one act of quiet obedience at a time. Some poems are narrative, following a single figure through the events of that first Christmas. Others are meditative, sitting with a single image - an advent wreath, a star, a manger - until it opens into something larger. Together they form a panorama: not one telling of the Christmas story, but many, woven around the same central gift.
