As Britain tries to regain its 13 colonies, time travel with us through the American monarchy founded by Benedict Arnold. The United Kingdom and undocumented aliens in the Union of Royal American States want to regain dominance over the 13 lost American colonies; colonies that King Benedict Arnold, with the assistance of his British masters, transformed into the Union of Royal American States after defeating George Washington at Yorktown. If London completes its task, originally started by Queen Victoria when she planted sleeper agents throughout the URAS, loyal subjects may suffer a fate worse than the Zika or Ebola viruses. In 2063, the ruler of the URAS was Queen Alyssa, whose family descended from King Benedict's distant younger cousin, King Abraham Lincoln. Her family's modus operandi for ascension to the throne was not waiting for the ruler to die naturally, but by murdering the incumbent king or queen. In this case, Alyssa killed her father. The paranoid queen suffers nightmares; hallucinations of undocumented aliens usurping her throne and enslaving her subjects. In Conceived in Liberty, a comedic, sci-fi, time-traveling romp through history by award-winning journalist Don Canaan, the queen asks Tamar Weaver, founder of AT&T (A Taste of Time), to travel into the past and repair the fabric of time so that Alyssa's reign could continue unhindered. Changing fate isn't simple for Tamar. She encounters historical figures in non-whitewashed situations never before been documented in URAS history. You will finally learn the unvarnished truth about, among others, the Lincoln and Washington families.
