Whether you are a curious skeptic, a first-time Bible reader, or a convinced believer here is the book to accompany you as you read what many consider the true spiritual history of mankind-the Bible, the very Word of God.
It starts with God, the creation, and a man and woman in a garden. It was good, very good. But a crafty lying serpent appears. The humans make a fatal choice. Things spiral down rapidly with accusations, jealousy, murder, war, rape, and worldwide evil. Is there hope? Yes, but it's concealed in the old testament and revealed in the new. Find out what that hope is through the daily studies in Concealed and Revealed.
A thread of hope runs throughout the old testament then unfolds gloriously in the new. But you have to read the original text, fortunately available to us in reliable translations in hundreds of languages. This volume can serve you as a daily companion for your Bible reading as you follow the downward plunge in the old testament and the upward climb to glory in the new.
There is a hint of hope soon after the serpent succeeded in convincing the man and the woman to eat of the forbidden fruit. The full solution to this dilemma is mostly concealed in the old testament but fully revealed in the new. Jesus came announcing that the kingdom of God was at hand and repent and believe the gospel. If we believe Him, we will put our confidence in His death on the cross as the means God used to redeem a people for Himself. We will recognize that Jesus promised to come again and take His people to be with Him forever. Meanwhile we pray as He taught us thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. If this story is a mere legend it matters nothing, but if it is true, nothing matters more.
If this story is a mere legend it matters nothing, but if it is true, nothing matters more. Let Concealed and Revealed be your companion as you read.
