A landmark achievement in documentary history.

This volume of the Complete Works of Errico Malatesta covers the five and a half years from when the weekly Volontà was founded in June 1913, through the end of 1918, when Malatesta was exiled in London. Included are articles on trade unionism, criticisms of individualism, the problems of reformism, and articles on science and determinism. After a flurry of conferences and rallies in early 1914, news of the revolutionary upheaval in Ancona, which started on June 7, spread, leading to another period of exile for Malatesta. In London he found himself mired in debates concerning WWI and antimilitarism within the anarchist movement.
