Weather information is becoming increasingly essential for global economic development. In recent years, natural phenomena caused by climate change have claimed many lives in our countries. In Senegal, between 2006 and 2007, we witnessed floods that affected the suburbs and outskirts of Dakar. Authorities reported several casualties and homeless people. This situation can be attributed to the fact that the population is not well informed about the importance of weather information. Africans continue to rely on traditional methods to predict the weather, seasons, and climate-methods that are no longer relevant. It is therefore clear that the weather plays a significant role in agriculture and all economic activities across African countries. According to a study on weather, in northern countries, weather has become a basic necessity. Everyone checks the weather daily-from professionals to individuals across various fields of activity. In contrast, African regions, particularly West Africa, are less prone to sudden climate changes.
