The Holy Spirit inspired the apostle Paul to write: Now always realize this, that in the last days there will be times that are hard to bear (2 Timothy 3:1 VET). Those hard times to bear are upon us now. Christians are finding themselves in changing times that are, not for the better, but for the worse, with a social order that is falling apart and disintegrating amid erupting ungodliness, hatred, civil unrest, violence, political corruption in high places, wars, rumors of more wars, and the persecution of Christianity. As if all that were not enough to dishearten Christians, they experience and must endure in their own lives personal misfortunes, troubles, and trials of all kinds, including, and especially, sickness, disease, and death afflicting their loved ones as well as themselves. As a result, Christians are seeing and feeling little peace, love, joy, and hope in their world and in their lives, for which they hunger and thirst.
Having been a pastor who ministered to the hurting, Rev. JC empathizes and sympathizes with those Christians going through their troubles and trials.
