The Collar of Orpheus

In 1635, Raven Orpheus was burned as a witch in the
village of Greyford.
But Raven did not die.
Four centuries later, seventeen-year-old Lena Evans finds a
strange black cat watching her from the garden. Around its
neck is an old leather collar inscribed with words she does
not understand.

When Lena reads them, the curse begins.
Black marks spread beneath her skin. Her body changes.
Her family searches for answers, but no doctor can explain
what is happening. Only Lena begins to understand the
truth: the cat is not a cat, the collar is not a collar, and
something ancient has chosen her.
