Dr. Richard Dick Cohen temporarily stepped away from his tenured university professor's position in 1980 to venture into the auto salvage business with a friend. At the same time, they began buying, driving, vintage racing, and later selling Shelby Mustangs, Corvettes, Cobras, and GT40s--including several extremely rare cars--along with '37 Cords, a '63 Galaxie 500 Lightweight, '70 Hemi 'Cudas, Panteras, and three '65 Shelby R-Models found in Lima, Peru. That was just the start. Most prized of all was the '66 Ford GT40 that Ken Miles drove across the finish line at LeMans that year, as depicted in the movie Ford v Ferrari. Dick often vintage raced this stunning and historic auto.
