This is Book VII of Clement of Alexandria's Miscellanies, presented with the original Greek text. Clement of Alexandria (c. 150 - c. 215 AD) was a Christian theologian and philosopher who headed the Catechetical School of Alexandria. A significant early Church Father, he is remembered for his writings blending Christian doctrine with Greek philosophical traditions.
Miscellanies (also known as Stromata) is a collection of Clement's notes on a variety of topics, intended to provide a guide to Christian gnosis. Book VII delves into ethics, Christian perfection, and the nature of true knowledge. This edition is valuable for scholars interested in early Christian thought, the development of Christian theology, and the intersection of faith and philosophy in the ancient world.
