Chutes and Wings is a multi-generational saga - a historically based adventure about a Jewish-American family from Chicago. With the bombing of Pearl Harbor, young Zak joins the US Army Airborne training. Parachuting from his downed bomber, he is captured by hostile German farmers who throw him into a Nazi POW camp.
