Many churches are starting crisis or compassion ministries. They are looking to meet the needs of their parishioners, and their neighborhoods when crisis strikes, or people are grieving. This book is a how to guide on training up chaplains to work with the local church, and assist the pastor in areas of compassion. This specialized training will help believers with a heart to assist those in grief; make hospital and home visits; and respond any time there is a disaster, or unexpected death in their community. A well trained chaplain is an asset to the pastor, and church. A healthy chaplain program can help a church grow and not only serve the needs of parishioners, but be an outreach to the community.
