McNair contends that the Christian church is the answer to a variety of issues faced by people with impairments, not the least of which is integration into the local community. McNair calls the church to action in loving its neighbor, particularly those with disabilities. He believes that if Christians truly embraced people with disabilities, the Christian Church would be radically different than it currently is today.
