The Chronicle of Henry of Huntingdon is a historical text that covers the history of England from Julius Caesar's invasion up until the accession of Henry II. It is written by Henry of Huntingdon, a 12th-century English historian and priest. The book is divided into two parts, with the first part covering the period from Caesar's invasion to the Norman Conquest, and the second part covering the reign of King Stephen. The text provides a detailed account of the major events and figures of English history during this period, including the Roman occupation, the Anglo-Saxon period, the Norman Conquest, and the civil war between Stephen and Matilda. The book is considered an important source for understanding the political and social history of medieval England. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
