The world of Heimur has been calm for centuries. the darkness was once banished and the races created by the gods live in harmony. That is, until Álfara begins to dream of mysterious lights in the northern skies that seem to be calling her name. That, and her unusual friendship with a banvaenn boy - a mortal - who may just be the destiny everyone has been searching for. Alfara is a Ljosalfar, a light elf. She is part of a long line of Ljosalfar descending from the great Einar, who once banished darkness from the world. Now the darkness is rising again, and Alfara must do all she can to stop it. With help of her human friend Nikkel and a few other magical companions, she journeys North to ask the ancient guardians for guidance. And so our story truly begins, with a Ljósálfar child who had been raised on the Legend of Kollungr and Einar, told the story as just that, and raised to not ask further questions. Or so her parents wished. Álfara, however, was not the type of Ljósálfar child to let stories simply be stories. An epic fantasy dive into how father christmas came to be, and most importantl
