Christmas With The Poets is a compilation of songs, carols, and descriptive verses that celebrate the festival of Christmas. The collection spans from the Anglo-Norman period to the present time, providing a historical perspective on the evolution of Christmas traditions and celebrations. The book is authored by Henry Vizetelly and was first published in 1851. It features works from a variety of poets, including William Shakespeare, John Milton, and Robert Burns, among others. The verses in the book cover a wide range of themes, including the Nativity, the joy of the season, and the traditions of gift-giving and feasting. The book is an excellent resource for anyone interested in the history and cultural significance of Christmas, as well as for those looking for inspiration for their own holiday celebrations. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
