When a young bird is unable to fly, Christina and Rosie believe they must intervene. Their attempts to help the bird may not turn out the way they expect, but they do learn a valuable lesson about nature.

Join the two sisters in this sweet, rhyming story as they discover a wonderful way to show kindness.

Rita Hillier's Christina and Rosie: And the Bird That Can't Fly teaches young readers the importance of protecting the environment and kindness. It encourages children to explore, inquire, and observe. The bond between the two sisters helps children learn the power of teamwork and sibling love. The author's writing style is engaging and easy to understand. The illustrations in the story are bright and interesting. I suggest Christina and Rosie: And the Bird That Can't Fly to parents, caregivers, and teachers who want their kids to learn about the environment in a fun and interesting way. The story makes us want to take care of our planet and its animals and make a difference. - 5 Star Readers' Favorite
