Wouldn't it make sense that in the United States, the land of the free and the home of the brave, we would have the freedom of choice? Sure. It's a concept that many think we do have. However, the more I research and open my eyes to DAILY happenings around me in the world of politics, the media and other strategies, I am beginning to disagree. I have noticed that most mothers are unaware that they have MANY choices to make regarding what happens to their baby - or not - right after birth, especially when birth occurs in a hospital. If people are unaware that choices even exist, is that still freedom of choice? There are a few (maybe many) things in this world that make me heated, at least a little. You could say I'm passionate. I have always been in awe of those throughout history that have stood up for freedom, yet I didn't feel the need to even tell the world my strong opinion until my blood pressure rose significantly. I was just fine in my little world living how I wanted. That was until SB277.
