China's War, The World's War follows Chiang's government from Nanjing to Chongqing and back again, tracing how strategy, diplomacy, and internal politics interacted at every turn. It examines major battles, the design of military doctrine, and the constant struggle over front prioritisation. It explores external aid politics around Soviet assistance, Lend-Lease, and command disputes in the China-Burma-India theatre.
