Tackling controversial issues through poetry, such as race, pride, promiscuity, the author folds God into modern issues in an intriguing, beautiful tribute to her Savior. Child of God is about power. Power not found in money, belongings, or status. Those are temporary to a child of God. Miss a few paychecks, make a few bad deals and all of that can disappear. So where does true power come from? How do you know true power from fleeting earthly power? How do you hold on to the power once you receive it? Inside of each one of us, built into the essence of who we are, is the potential for true unrelenting, undefeatable, limitless power. Your education level is irrelevant, your bank account does not matter, your address isn't an issue. These poems will give you a glimpse of love, strength, and power that overcomes all obstacles.
